RESOURCES FOR THE TVF TRAINING CENTRE 50
Training teachers in Nepal how to make lessons more enjoyable through the use of simple resources including coloured paper, scissors, glue, coloured pencils, and paints, is already proving effective in many schools we have visited. True Volunteer Foundation (UK) have sponsored the building of a Training Centre in Banepa. SHIVA Charity will have the above building up and running in November, training teachers, and teaching students extra curricular subjects. We are also including a recording facility for music. We will need ongoing resources every session of training. Please consider sponsoring 50 to help us make lessons happier for the children in Nepal.

The earthquakes of April and May 2015, in Nepal, left millions without homes. SHIVA Charity (UK) helped, first with tents, and then 71 temporary homes. Now we need to rebuild permanent small houses with bricks. We are delighted that Wrington Vale Rotary Club (UK) and Dourdan Rotary (near Paris,France) are raising money for an earth brick making machine, like the one in the photo. Please support SHIVA Charity through your organization, or as an individual, by donating towards the 1500 it will cost to make each home. Give a family in the village of Rabi Opi hope for a better future!

Anil Humagain, age 19. Home address is Fulbari Village Nepal. His house suffered earthquake damage, and the family have lots of financial problems. They are a poor family.
He is a hard working student, who has completed his Year 11 and 12 exams and has been on a waiter training course. His ambition is to go to college and get a degree in Hotel Management (BHM). The college he wants to attend next month (October 2016) is Padmashree International College in Kathmandu. So far, SHIVA Charity has helped him, when possible, with a little extra money, and helped with his family's temporary cottage, but now we need your help. It is a four year course, and the first thing he has to pay for is his admission fee. Because this is a practical course the fee is high (82500 rupees). That is about 590, and the monthly fee is 95. Anil is not expecting anyone to provide all this money, but he would be grateful for any help! Please email me (shivanepal@yahoo.com) if you can help Anil. He is also on Facebook if you want to ask any questions.                                                           Bob Uppington (SHIVA Charity Chairman)
